Introduction

Welcome to Safari Bookers ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and all services provided by Safari Bookers, including travel assistance, safari booking coordination, resort booking, transport coordination, and related travel support services.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("user", "customer", "you") and Safari Bookers. By accessing our platform or availing our services, you accept these terms in full.

Who We Are — Important Disclaimer

Critical notice: Safari Bookers is a private, independent travel assistance and consultation company. We are NOT affiliated with, authorized by, or operating under any government body, forest department, national park authority, or wildlife board of India.

We are not the official booking portal for any national park or tiger reserve in India. We do not hold government permits, licenses, or authority over forest department operations.

Our role is to assist, coordinate, and guide travelers through the process of booking safaris, selecting appropriate zones, arranging resorts, and planning wildlife trips — for which we charge transparent service and consultation fees.

• We charge service fees for coordination and assistance
• We do not guarantee government permit availability
• All forest department decisions are final and beyond our control

Our Services

Safari Bookers provides the following travel assistance services:

• Safari Booking Coordination: We assist in coordinating jeep safari and canter safari bookings for national parks across India, including permit application guidance.
• Zone Selection Guidance: Expert advisory on selecting the most suitable safari zone based on season, wildlife activity, and your specific interests.
• Resort & Hotel Booking: Assistance in identifying and booking appropriate accommodations ranging from budget stays to luxury jungle resorts.
• Transport Coordination: Cab bookings, airport pickups, station transfers, and resort drop arrangements.
• Custom Tour Packages: Fully customized wildlife trip planning for individuals, families, couples, and corporate groups.
• Travel Consultation: General advisory on national parks, safari rules, best seasons, and wildlife destinations across India.

All services are subject to availability, government regulations, and third-party provider constraints.

Booking Process & Confirmation

When you submit a booking or enquiry through Safari Bookers, the following process applies:

• Your booking request is received and reviewed by our team within 4 business hours.
• We will confirm availability with the relevant forest department, resort, or service provider.
• A booking is considered confirmed only after written confirmation from Safari Bookers via email or WhatsApp, and after payment of applicable service fees.
• Safari zone allocation is subject to forest department availability and may not always match your preferred zone.
• All guest identity documents submitted must be accurate and valid. Incorrect or fraudulent ID details may result in entry denial at park gates.

Zone Allocation: Safari zones in most national parks are allocated by the forest department based on availability. We assist you in applying for preferred zones but cannot guarantee a specific zone allocation.

Payments, Fees & Refunds

Safari Bookers charges service fees and consultation fees for the assistance, coordination, and management of your travel experience. These are separate from government permit fees, resort charges, or transport costs.

• All fees are communicated clearly before you confirm any booking or payment.
• Payments are processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways (Razorpay, Cashfree, PhonePe, PayU).
• Government permit fees, when applicable, are passed on at actual cost without markup.
• GST at the prevailing rate is applicable on all service fees as per Indian tax laws.
• In the event of a failed payment, no booking shall be processed until successful payment confirmation is received.

Refund terms are governed by our separate Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms and should be read together.

Wildlife Sighting Disclaimers

Important: Wildlife sightings — including tiger sightings, leopard sightings, and sightings of any specific animal — cannot be guaranteed by Safari Bookers or by any safari operator, guide, or forest department.

Wildlife movement is entirely natural and unpredictable. Animal behavior depends on weather, season, time of day, forest conditions, and other factors entirely beyond human control. Safari Bookers makes no warranty or representation regarding the likelihood or occurrence of any wildlife sighting during your safari.

• No refund or compensation shall be provided for the absence of specific wildlife sightings.
• Photographs, videos, or descriptions of wildlife used in our marketing represent general possibilities, not guarantees.
• All safari experiences are subject to the natural behavior of wildlife and forest conditions on the day of your visit.

Government Permits & Forest Department Authority

Entry into national parks and tiger reserves in India is regulated by the respective state forest departments. Safari Bookers assists with permit applications but has no authority over government decisions. The following conditions apply:

• Safari permits are issued at the sole discretion of the forest department.
• Parks may be closed without notice due to weather, wildlife emergencies, government orders, or forest management decisions.
• Zone closures, route changes, and timing modifications are entirely within forest department authority.
• We are not responsible for permit rejections, zone changes, or park closures by the government.
• All visitors must carry valid government-issued photo ID to park gates as per forest department requirements.
• Minors' entry rules vary by park and are subject to the forest department's current policy.

Liability & Limitations

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Safari Bookers shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or inconvenience arising from:

• Wildlife encounters, accidents, or incidents inside national park boundaries
• Actions or omissions of third-party service providers including resorts, transport operators, safari guides, or forest department officials
• Government park closures, zone changes, or permit rejections
• Natural disasters, extreme weather, forest fires, or force majeure events
• Incorrect information provided by the customer at the time of booking
• Loss of baggage, valuables, or personal property during the safari or travel
• Health issues, medical emergencies, or pre-existing conditions during the trip

Maximum Liability Cap

In all cases where Safari Bookers is found liable, our maximum liability shall not exceed the total service fee paid by you to Safari Bookers for the specific booking in question — excluding third-party costs such as resort charges or government permit fees.

User Conduct & Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information in all bookings and enquiries.
• Carry valid original government-issued photo ID for all guests at park gates.
• Follow all forest department rules, safari guidelines, and guide instructions during the safari.
• Not create noise, disturbance, or harm to wildlife or the forest ecosystem.
• Not engage in any illegal activity within national park boundaries.
• Not attempt to circumvent, modify, or misuse our booking platform or services.
• Not use our services for fraudulent, illegal, or unethical purposes.

Safari Bookers reserves the right to refuse service, cancel bookings, and blacklist users who violate these conduct requirements.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Safari Bookers website — including text, design, illustrations, SVG artwork, logos, page layouts, and code — is the intellectual property of Safari Bookers or its licensors. You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or redistribute our website content without written permission.
• Use our brand name, logo, or identity in any manner that suggests endorsement or affiliation without consent.
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from our website.

Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using Safari Bookers, you consent to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.

Amendments to These Terms

Safari Bookers reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The updated version will be published on our website with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after any modification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

We recommend reviewing these terms periodically. For significant changes, we may notify existing customers via email or WhatsApp.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Safari Bookers' services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

We encourage resolution of disputes through direct communication before initiating any legal proceedings.
